He joined shortly after graduating from Northwest Nazarene University with a bachelor's degree in both business administration (finance) and accounting. Ryan earned a CFA Charter in 2004. The CFA is a globally recognized standard of investment analysis issued by the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts. Ryan is also a non-practicing CPA (inactive). He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts, and the CFA Society of Idaho. In 2007, Ryan was named to the Idaho Business Review's "Accomplished 40 Under 40" list. Ryan and his wife, Shannon, live in Meridian with their two daughters. Ryan serves as treasurer on the board of Love, INC of the Boise Community, a non-profit organization committed to providing a variety of resources to local residents in need. Ryan is also a board member of Mission Media.
